Golden Friendships recently hosted its much-anticipated Annual Sponsors Ball, an evening dedicated to expressing our gratitude to our generous supporters while raising crucial funds to help continue our work in the local community.
Held in our own facilities in Nairn place, which were beautifully decorated thanks to our volunteers, the event brought together community leaders, Golden Friendships sponsors, board members, friends, volunteers and members for a night filled with heartfelt, engaging performances.
Members James McKay, Justine McGowan, Susan Moir and Adam McGrane all provided showstopping performances followed by a wonderful set by Red Light and of course, Tom As Unusual and DJ Shuggie. Guests had the opportunity to participate in both a raffle and auction featuring a range of exciting items, from signed football tops, concert tickets and luxury hotel and golf stays, to ice hockey tickets, flowers, jewellery and much more, all donated by local organisations.
The Sponsors Ball not only celebrated the successes achieved over the past year but also sought to galvanise the community and local businesses, to continue their vital support, ensuring that Golden Friendships can expand its reach and touch even more lives in the coming year. A big thank you to all volunteers, donors, attendees, board members and performers for making it a great event and one which will help continue our activities for the months (and years) to come.
